The house is within approx. 15km from the famous convent Melk,
the Wachau/Donau with vineyards, strongholds, convents and even
very good cycling possibilities. Then there is the beautiful
culture city Wenen (famous for its beautiful Schloss Schönbrunn,
the Hofburg, the Spanish driving school...) easily reachable
by car and train (60km). There are even day trips to the front

bungalow was so close to one of Europe's most important cities.
Its location in both the Forest of Vienna and the Austrian cider
district should give you a clue to the surrounding rolling countryside,
which is dotted with castle ruins and well-known to Austrian
cyclists. One local organic farmer is officially the best in
Austria, and you can buy direct from his farm. Only 35 minutes
from the Vienna underground (ask the friendly owner, who lives
next door), but also only an hour from Lake Neusiedlersee, 20
minutes from Mayerling, scene of a notorious Habsburg Royal family
whodunnit, and from the ancient Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, famous
for its gregorian chanting since 1133. |

you can park your bikes in a shed. You can enjoy Vienna and its
surroundings all the year round here! The apartment is not suited
for families with small children. The house owner lives in the
